Holy moly! How is Father's Day already here?! It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating New Years. Time just needs to stop. And Jerry wonders why I take pictures of every person and every thing, every single day. There are only so many memories my brain can remember.
I wanted to share some coupons with you that have discounts for our dads this weekend.
Of course, the typical gifts are ties,
socks,
and dress shirts.
But why not think outside of the box and get him a grilling utensil set,
a wine cooler,
or something for his sports' team like cuff links, a sweatshirt, hat, or wall art.
Here's the thing about my dad. He got a wine cooler for Christmas, he doesn't dress up for church or his job anymore, my mom is the one that grills food, and he graduated from FSU so he has tons of paraphernalia. So I'm kinda stuck. Then I got to thinking about other options that others might not necessarily think to gift their dad for this special day.
What about buying your dad a day at the spa?! Brilliant, right?? My dad loves pampering himself and I don't think that's such a crime. Every person, male or female, needs to take time and relax.
Here is a website where you can purchase a gift certificate good towards any spa center in the country. We purchased these for a few of our family member's for Christmas and they loved them.
Now, on to some coupons.
Belk's Father's Day Sale $10 off $50, $20 off $100, and $30 off $150
Kohl's The Great Dad Day Sale $10 off any men's apparel purchase
Macy's 25% off underwear and socks using code SUMMER
Sears Father's Day Sale 15% off men's clothing an accessories using code DAD13
Target did not have any holiday sales, but I'll list their everyday coupons.
Walmart also did not have any holiday sales, but here is their list of everyday coupons.
Many other department stores will be offering Father's Day sales this weekend. You'll just have to trek out of the house and see what they have! Your day might even like it if you take him with you and let him pick something.
If you have little ones in your family, dad might LOVE a home made gift more than something found at the store. I'm 27 and my dad still loves it when I make him coupon books. We used to make coupons that said "This coupon is good for one free car wash." Or "This coupon is good for one free foot rub." You can get as creative as possible and he will love it.
You can print it from the computer
or write it yourself.
The possibilities are endless. Get creative and have fun!! Whatever you do, spend all the time you can with your dads and let them know just how much they mean to you.
Happy early Father's Day to all the dads out there!!
