The closer it gets to Christmas, the faster the days seem to fly. Less than a week now! I'm thinking about giving ye ole' blog a break between now and the end of the year, but I don't know. We'll see how crazy these last few days get.
one | Can you spot the kitty cat? I knew I shouldn't have put up the Christmas tree this year. Dammit.
two | We had a cookie exchange last Saturday night and I made grasshopper cookies! It's a little bit more work than I intended when I found the recipe, but maybe I'll post it online for you. It's just devil's food cake for the cookie, green-dyed icing, melted chocolate chips, and crushed Andes mints on top!
three | We also had another Christmas party that same night so JerBear and I snapped a picture. Who doesn't do that? Der. Totes McGode.
four | I finally got around to changing up the pillow covers with our Winter bed color scheme. Tutorial coming soon!!
five | I got this adorable leather-topped blouse from Versona a few days ago and couldn't wait to wear it. I mean, seriously. What changes up my casual Old Navy and Target wardrobe other than faux leather?
Do any of you have any exciting weekend plans? Have any early family Christmas gatherings? I do. Annnd, not looking forward to them. Shh. Don't tell anyone I said that.

those grasshopper cookies sound yummy!
ReplyDeleteThey are! And the best part is that because they are cake mix, they don't get hard and stale days later!!
DeleteWell that's good to know. I hate stale cookies. Haha.
Deleteawesome! that is making me MORE hungry to try them now! i love eating cookies that stay moist and soft!
DeleteThe grasshopper cookies are so cool! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm really tempted to make them for Christmas and keep the green dye on the icing but put crushed peppermints on top instead of the Andes mintes.
