Beach house beauty

I'm going to be keeping these next few posts as short as possible because, honestly, I need to be headed to the beach! I mean, wouldn't you?! My parents have been planning this beach trip for almost a year. We've never really taken a family vacation before. Luckily, we have family in Florida so we COULD call that a vacation but it was strictly to see those relatives. And there were several summers growing up that we had to go to Gatlinburg for a music conference that my dad had to attend. So we COULD call that a vacation too. But this is our official first vacation with no agenda to see family, go to any conferences, or any meetings. We're just here to hang out, drink, lay out at the beach or pool, and even do a little shopping. It's going to be glorious!

This beach house is relatively close to the water. It's not ON the water but still super close. And if we asked 7 or 8 extra people to go with us again, the costs would be very affordable. We're already talking about coming again next year. Here are a few pictures of the house and us on the beach.

We had to drive through Highway 331 and it was in the middle of no where. I just had to take a picture of this cute little town clock.

Annnd Papa's gas station was the cutest! They were selling produce under that yellow umbrella.

Welcome to our beach house--Margarita House. Most adorable place EVER.

Yes, we're dorks. Sue us. This is our house number!

These chairs look like something I would've bought for my house back home. Perfect color.

By the way, don't go to the beach at 5:30 pm. Bad idea. The water was like ice. We tried anyway.

How adorable is mama and Zion?!

Everybody went to the beach this morning except for dad. They went running pretty early so we got out on the water around 8:30 am. He thought we'd be out there or it'd be too hot. This is the prime time to go. I didn't get too burned and I wasn't miserable because of the heat.

Saturday night we made lime margaritas. Tonight we're making pina colatas! Between dad and us, we've got liquor to last us for a whiiiile. Bottoms up!!
